Visual art and fine craft inspired by poetry.

John is honoured to be included as one of the 10 artists chosen for this virtual exhibit at the Carnegie Gallery in Dundas to celebrate the Tower Poetry Society’s 70th anniversary.  John created the magnificent lanscape piece entitled Towards Light to accompany the poem by Jennifer Tan.

LANDSCAPE

sorrow
pours like rain
through a hole
threads
a pattern of woes with a needle
rolls on rows
of recollections
runs and slips
through
a shroud of trees
on slopes
rocks are losing their grip
where the lake collects
magic stones and mirrors
it fails to cure neuroses
and confusion
in the shadow of clouds
and yet
in the middle of the landscape
a river escapes at last
towards light
and home

John is very excited that his work has been featured in the Dec. 13th. print edition of the Burlington Post!

In this article the author, Dennis Smith mentions several of the exciting holiday events that are occuring in and around the RBG and he chose to use a photo of John's work to highlight the AGOG Glass Show and Sale currently on at the studios of Teresa Seaton and Siobhan Lynch @ 654 & 652 Spring Gardens Road, Burlington, ON across from the RBG.

We are pleased to announce that once again, John will be taking part in the Dundas Studio Tour. 


John is very pleased to be displaying his mandalas @ the home of Kristina Kirkwood again this year!!  Kristina has been a wonderful host and has made him feel very welcome.
